a little help

    hey guys im getting ready to head down to the big river todayh, im going for channels, flatties and blues. But im also looking for something else and was wondering if anyone had any tips for catching hybrids. im taking fresh shad, and possibly minnows.

    This time of yr ,in my experience,they are focusing on the river mouths of the OR tribs and up in the tribs looking for cooler water and baitfish,TC1

    ok so i got down to the dam to find it opened all the way up. the current was rediculous. i tried8 ounces and it wouldnt stick to that was the end of cattin for me. so the rest of the night i threw jigs and crankbaits. i took 3 hybrids (saw atleast 20 get taken) 10 white bass all of which were12 inches and bigger, 2 sauger and a big drum. not a bad day might go back out again tomorrow
