Here are a few bass and one flaty from the scioto downtown that Mike and I caught.
Good fish guys!
Been wanting to get down there, guess the water looks good enough now.
Nice fishes! What were they biting on?
Where is the boat ramp, I always fish Griggs and am looking for something different.
Thanks for posting the pics Marshall!
The ramp is located just north east of the confluence on the Olentangy
take nationwide blvd. west until it deadends
Thanks for the info.
Very steep, long and narrow ramp!
yea it is steep, and the bottom is shallow with some rocks. i can get my jon in and out of there easily, and i have a buddy who has put his bass boat in there, but i imagine that could be difficult when it is shallow.
Yep lots of changes in bottom depth, could easily mess up a motor if not careful. But mostly the ramp area is shallow. I would suggest using the trolling motor till you know where the shallow areas are.
Is there room to set up for cats on the bank?
On the boat ramp? I wouldn't do that
You would not need to set up there. The confluence area is ringed with trails and provides more bank fishing opportunity than anywhere in Central Ohio.
