Was wondering if a 90 hp is too much to put on a 16.6ft Lund. I'm looking to upgrade from my 50 this winter/spring. Looking to purchase a 2005 or 06. Keep a lookout for one for me.

what does your capacity plate say the max horsepower is? go as high as that.
im just guessing, but i guess you'll be ok.

  3. I just checked out the 2008 lineup of Lund boats and was suprised to see the h.p. ratings on their 16' boats. The hp seemed low in comparison to other manufacturers. I think the largest I saw was 90 hp. Now I'm curious, check your plate and let us know what it says...

  4. you.ve seen my boat , pro v 1775 plate says 150hp max.
