This is a 2000 9.9 Evinrude 4-stroke with low hours. I haven`t had it on a boat for 3 years. Starts and runs good. Water pump puts out a steady stream. Nice clean motor. $1100 9.9.JPG

Is that a short shaft? Does it have power tilt/trim stow?

It is 23 or 24 inches from the top of the transom to the center of the prop shaft. I live 3 miles south of Tiffin.

The way you want to measure the shaft length is from the top of the transom to the plate above the prop. If it measures 20" you have a long shaft. If it measures 15 " you have a short shaft.

Thanks for the illustration. This motor measures 15", so it is a short shaft. There are adjustments for trim but there is no power trim.
