Discussion in 'Northeast Ohio Fishing Reports' started by mbass8dor, Aug 22, 2004.

  1. I WENT OUT FROM 11:30 A.M.- 8:05 P.M.
THE FISHING WAS VERY SLOW TODAY, THE BASS WERE DEEPER TODAY.
WORKED THE SHALLOWS FOR A WHILE BUT ONLY A FEW SMALL BASS.
SO DECIDED TO HEAD FOR DEEPER WATER AND BEGAN CATCHING BETTER BASS. MANAGED 8 BASS INCLUDING 1- 18'' 2#10 oz. L.M. 1- 15'' S.M. AND 15'' L.M. I ALSO LOST A BIGGER BASS AT THE BOAT, AFTER HE BROKE THE HOOK OFF MY TITANIUM SPINNERBAIT. BRAND NEW NEVER HAD THAT HAPPEN BEFORE, BUT THATS FISHING FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING.

    CONDITIONS: SUNNY 74 LIGHT WINDS
    WATER: VERY STAINED VIS. 1-1.5'
LURES: CHART/ WHITE 3/4 oz. SPINNERBAIT BLK/ BLUE JIG

REMINDER: SALEM RES. WILL BE CLOSING FOR THE SEASON
ON SEPT 26th. SO I HOPE TO SEE YOU BEFORE
THEN. GOOD LUCK AND GOOD FISHING.
