Just got back from being in Enon's parade. What a nice way to spend our 4th. What I get to see by being in the parade: the little old lady setting on her porch waving our flag, the kids looking for candy, the preacher, fireman, biker and the veteran with his flag swaying in the warm summer breeze. There are few sights that stand out or move us as what I saw today, a WWII Veteran setting on his lawn with his grandson in his Marine uniform and a little boy in front of them saluting our flag that hung off of the firetruck infront of me. As I said what a way to spend the 4th.
