Tuesday evening was one of my better fishing days in about a month. The sun was beating down pretty hard so I hit a brush pile in about 12ft. of water and caught four and lost two within a half an hour (from about 4:30 - 5:00 P.M.). They were staying tight to cover, like laydownds & rip-rap near deeper water. They stopped biting after I snagged a few times so I moved to the rip-rap by the damn and caught two dinks & a keeper. All on crankbait.
Caught & released one 4.25lbs./caught & released three over 2lbs./caught & released one 1-1/2 lbs..

    St. Joseph Resivoir near Somerset.

  2. Thats a great night for this time of year. Our club weights have been about 5lbs. to win. I bet if you had time to leave the brush pile and come back later, you may have gotten into them again.

I had a blast chopper. Hell man, I got into more bass this morning down at AEP.
