Does anyone know of any good panfish/crappie spots around the Dayton area? Recently got back into fishing and looking for a few good spots to try my luck
CJBrown (Springfield) - buck creek marina - round about (far end of docks) - walk out to the harbor opening - for crappie - early season - minows on jighead or roadrunner or slip bobber.
OR as they have said - Cesars - same deal - at one of the ramps or the marinas.
If you are not landlocked - same lakes - just much more options.
Eastwood Lake is right near you and has a bunch of crappies.. you may need a yak or canoe or boat to reach the weed beds ...Just use a minnie or wax worm under a float set at 6 feet deep
Never been to Eastwood but it's close enough to hit after work one day. Thanks lol
