Does anybody know what species are there and relative depth? I'm working on a house here that my mom is thinking about getting but if the fishing sucks I'll tell her forget it hahaha
If that’s the pond to the west once inside the park entrance it’s pretty shallow and weedy last time I was there years ago. And just some grass pike and small gills. If it’s the east side pond across from the church it’s also weedy but deeper and lots of small crappie I got ice fishing a few years back, not sure on anything recent.
I just remembered are you talking about the small lake on the curves of rt 44 across from the cemetery, if so not sure about that one being it’s private property. Ask a local for info.
Yeah up on the hill. Looks like a decent size little lake and if I'm not mistaken is also a glacial lake like punderson and could potentially be kinda deep. Idk just curious
Lot's of carp too. I was in there several years ago and must have counted hundreds of dead carp on the banks due to some climatic event. Not sure about any other species, and yes it is a private little community. Go to Punderson State Park and/or Kiwannis Lake which are just down down the road from 87/322 heading west.
I used to fish it back in the early to mid-90's...used to be a lot of fun. In recent years they had a water contamination issue. The water problem has been resolved but not sure how the fishing is. It is a private lake and you have to have a tag with you that is given to you by a person that lives there to use on a one shot deal. The people that live there pay yearly dues for that privilege. Deepest part is close to the center where it's approximately 70 ft.
