Well I was able to take advantage of the warmer weather last week and got out on some open water for the 1st time in 2018. I get to my spot tie on a 2.75" Big Joshy in Slims bait and cast it out. I couldn't believe it but a couple reels in and I'm on my first fish of the year. After a nice fight I landed this 23.5" 7' Fish Ohio Wiper. All in all leads me to believe that 2018 is going to be a good year. Good Luck to everyone in 2018!
Man...you are jinxed!!!! You need to do something immediately to reverse some bad mojo. I caught a first cast muskie several years ago on a trip I was on, did not see another fish all week!
Very nice! Another little thaw coming up. Guess I need to get off the couch
