Been working on the paint shop (drywall, insulation, paint, light fixtures... yuck, all work, no fun) and have the room finished to a point where I can use the new paintbooth.
I'm a little rusty because I haven't painted for about 6 or 7 months, but I got the first one painted and applied one of three coats of clear. Its a chubby minnow-type bait and its built to run about 5 to 7 feet deep.
I started a couple more, but ran out of time.
I'll post a few more as the weeks go by and I sure hope some of...
Anybody else worried about them? I would not be surprised if they don't return to the finals this year. They are getting so lazy getting back on defense that I'm afraid they won't shake their bad habits. Both Boston and Washington are hungry. If the Cavs don't get the one seed they may have to play both of them.
It used to be said that you only need to tune in for the last 5 minutes on a NBA game. Now the Cavs are turning it into don't watch until the playoffs start. The regular season is just an exhibition season in their eyes.
Did some tinkering today on battery for use on ice. Used an old lunch cooler for a base. Figured built in insulation would help battery's on ice performance. This particular is an 12 volt 18ah sealed lead acid battery. Figured the 18 amp hours would satisfy all my power needs on ice. Little on the heavy side but handle on cooler makes for easy handling.
Also installed a plug power socket to facilitate easy and fast hook up. Installed to light weight angles on bottom to keep weight centrally balanced. Rather simple to do and should give me enough power for the longest trip I can imagine.
