Meant to ask earlier but on Friday there were several emergency vehicles and a rescue boat (was on trailer) at the access point along Riverside under the freeway. Anyone have any details? Hoping it wasn't a wading fisherman or kayaker (or any person for that matter) who got swept away in the fast current.
Didn't look like training. Lights were on and there was a very large fleet of emergency vehicles present. It was also during a high-traffic time of day and they were blocking parts of the road so I don't think they would have done that. Came here to ask the same question. Figured someone would know.
We saw the same thing. Thought it must have been training since we found no information on any local news websites. But I agree...lots of equipment down there for a training session!
Don't even know why people get close to that water when its running high, I was out by the darby last weekend and it was swollen up pretty good.
