As the title states how often do you guys check your cams in the summer?

I personally check them once right after setting them to make sure everything is working right and i have no limbs or anything triggering the camera every few seconds. I do this initial check the first time i can go in during a light rain or with rain coming right after im done. After the initial check i go about 3 weeks before pulling cards again and repeat that sequence until its time to hunt.

I do roughly the same. I check them about a week after I hang em to make sure everything is working right. After that I let em hang awhile unless I need to put a cam elsewhere. I may sometimes move em to a different section of a bean field. I don't worry too much about scent and stuff. Most of mine I hang where I have easy access and the farmers are in and out alot anyways
Come sept if I have a decent deer on one property I will pull cams from other places and put a bunch of cams in there and hope he still has some daytime movement once he drops velvet. Can't say it actually works tho as I've never killed a big deer at the beginning of the season.....someday tho.
Right now I have all my cams on one property since the main deer I hunted the last 2 seasons is alive and well. Hopefully 3rd yr is a charm

To be honest scent wise you would probably be better off going in when its bone dry. I always say I will only check once a month but sometimes I just gotta peek lol. I usually don't have much luck killing deer I get pictures of during the summer but once September rolls around the seem to stay.
