Love the mojo bass line. I have 2 of them. 7 foot Tubes/Grubs MP-F rod and a 6'6" Wacky Style MP-ExF. I use the Wacky Style for Wacky rigging and Drop shotting and the 7 foot Tubes/Grubs rod for swimsbaits, texas rig, jerkbaits, etc.. I don't fish a ton of heavy bass lures so I think a lot of the MH rods these days are overkill unless you are flipping fish in the boat for $$, catching floridian or texas toads, fishing heavy cover, etc.. I use my Mojos on the river and in the lakes. I even fish for pike with them. Pair it up with a $50 shimano sedona reel, a little power pro, and you've got everything you need. A good rod makes fishing that much more enjoyable. Having said that, unlike most St. Croix rods they are made in Mexico, but the quality is still great. I do wish they were made in the US like their top lines. I also own a 2 piece St. Croix Premier MF 6'6" travel rod which is great. I've taken it to florida many times and done great with it in Salt Water. Caught some Dorado on it and other species.
If I am buying a new Rod, I'd rather go to Rodmakers. But being south of Columbus, I usually go to Vance's or Fisherman's Warehouse.
