I'm looking into getting some waders for the fall my budget is 175.00 max. I want a pair that have the lugged boots. I really don't want to get stocking foot and have to get some wading shoes. I'm around 6'2 about 235 give or take a few and wear a size 12 shoe. Any suggestions on brand's or type of wader?
I have a pair of pro line neoprene waders that aren't too bad and are probaby half the cost of your budget. They aren't anything special, but I've waded in 30 degree water and they kept me warm and dry.
If you can get the cabelas supermags on sale, they're awesome. Little over your budget tho, even on sale. Never get cold toes except after few hours in knee deep slush in December. Had 1 pair leak after 2 years and they exchanged them, no questions. I would get a size bigger to handle the extra layer or wool socks.
Just got an email from Orvis. Their Encounter line seem like a good option under $200.
