Benelli Nova

Anyone here have a 12 ga. Benelli Nova? I'm Looking to buy one for a waterfowl/turkey gun. Any likes or dislikes about the gun?

I have one. I use it for everything. It is a great gun. I challenge anybody to find a better gun for the retail price that is brand new. If you mount it, it feels good and you like the price - then buy it.

I have the recoil reduction unit which balances the gun a bit better and absorbs more recoil for waterfowling loads and slug slinging. When I shoot clays or light loads I take it out. Nice feature that the others do not have. I also like the newer ones with the different recoil pad. I wish mine had that.

I would not hesitate to buy another one.

A buddy of mine has one. In my opinion, there is not a better gun for the money on the market.

I have one and love it! Shoulders like a dream and allows you to shoot without thinking about it. It does however kick like a mule shooting heavy 3 1/2 in. turkey loads though! I need to get the recoil reduction system that Crankus was talking about, but I second his opinion as well. Hard to find a better, tougher gun for the price. I also would buy another in a heartbeat.
