Default Conneaut creek

Planning on hitting conneaut creek for the first time to get some steelies I've never fished for steelhead and need some pointers on what to do! I'm gonna be wading and throwing a Mepps spinner some spoons and maybe egg sacks if I can find them... Any tips on how to land one would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking of starting at woodworth road I think it's called that anyway.. But any help or tips would be great thanks!

Also, is it anything like fishing for river smallies? Like looking for eddies rocks or deeper pools?

Just do the same as you would for smallies.
Best tip for landing one - check your drag when you get started.
