Default Sabiki rigs for perch?

Seems I saw some mention a while back of using Sabiki rigs for perch. When I looked at them on ebay, they all had like 6 hooks which would make illegal. Anyone use them and if so, do you just remove the extra hooks? Source for them?

I've used them before. I just cut them in half so I have two with 3 hooks each. They work great.

The Japanese ones run the opposite that they do here. I assume they mostly imported because I found some marked as being made in Florida but the larger numbers were smaller than the smaller sizes. Somewhere on the web I did find a chart that explained the size but I don't remember where it was. If you find some your interested on the big auction site email and ask about the sizes. They do carry them at the small sport shop where you enter Dobbins Landing in Presque Isle, Erie Pa.

I had my daughter send me some fron bait shops in North Carolina. Tried various sizes and colors (unbaited) for perch and struck out, even when it was down and up feeding frenzy. Tipped the rig and caught perch. Don't see any difference between the Sabiki and a Minifoo from that standpoint.

Default Cabela's

Cabela's has sabiki rigs with no. 2 hooks or some with no. 8, 6 hooks, think the 8's would be a little too small. The 2's were 5.45 each with a 3 hook set-up, just add weight. This is the american size hooks
