Default wine and walleye tournament

Was just looking at rules and didn't see a payout schedule. The past tournaments all paid 2k to win and 300 for second. This is on the amateur side. Is the payout the same regardless of the number of entries?

My quick math figured 35 teams last year. Average was at least 3entries per boat@ 40 per entry. Makes for a 54% payback? Or am I missing something?

Payout in the rules is same as last year. I know Karran Shop is trying to add a gift certificate for a third place prize, but the tourney management want to split it up for door prizes. They would get a lot more interest in the tourney if it payed more places (and didn't use as much of the team fees to pay other bills I assume).

I agree with the payouts! Needs to pay to at least 4-5 spots. I'm in it with a few friends but it is a tough tourney to win the way it is set up IMOP.

I was looking to sign up, but the most I can fish out of my boat is three. Seems like the way the rules are (best five per boat) then I have half the chance as a boat with six people, running twice the rods, keeping twice as many, etc... Am I thinking correctly? Seems my odds would be pretty long. Would be interested in joining a group to make five or six perhaps...

Default how many fish?

I looked at the rules and didn't see how many fish would be measured? Is it biggest 5? I am interested in fishing the tournament.

Anyone have an open seat??? If so, I would love to fill it! Will pay my $50 fee plus contribute for gas, bait, ice, sandwiches, etc. I have a crew, and will be fishing this Friday, so hopefully i will have a good idea on where and what is working. I am also open to taking a couple guys out that would like to fish the tournament, pay their $50 each, plus contribute to my gas.
Thanks,
Mitch
