Hump day in Geneva

Went out into what noaa called 1-3s more like 3-5s made long ride into the swells 13 miles ne. Trolled with the rollers pulling two dipsey and two 3oz. Could not keep trash fish off early. Finally pulled nice eye at 150 at 3.5 then missed second at boat. Mixed it up trying to keep trash off. Switched out 3oz with wire at 325. Pulled one on it and while bringing it in double on 185 back at 3.5. Pulled another two at 185 missing one at boat and pulled one on a 1setting back 105. Pulled a total of five hogs with bonus five jumbo perch( perch bonus firt time this year) and countless white trash. Quit when worm bed ran dry around noon. Lake laid down with wind shift. Hell glass into until about 8 miles out. Not bad day on water. Tons of marks out in 72 ft . Most all year down deep and around 45 ft. Looks like its going to blow.

The day was slow for us today . pulled 7 eye's and 4 nice yellow perch and a Steelhead. best program was 3oz 110 back colorado blade's gold back and anti pink back's. Fished all the way to the 05/ 53 . Thanks for fishing with us today Tim. slow day but nice to get out.

All of our fish were over 26 in. All big hogs. We lost a sixth and seven was a nice 20 incher i thought was trash and muscled too hard. Didnt really mind losing him, let him grow up to fight another day. It was pretty quiet on radio. Had to laugh in am, charter boat next to us was going to leave at same time, they came out and they did uturn back in. I was shocked alot of big boys were all in the marina when we left at 630. Marks were incredible out there. I couldnt get an eye on a 3ozi tried everything from 100 to 135. I was checking lines constantly, no more than five minutes. Alot of work, lots of fun and yes better than work work anyday.

I'd take those 5 hogs any day Snoop. Sure beats sitting at work.
