Default Griggs above dam cattin

My usual spot still hasnt let me down. Me and Ajangsta fished until 4 am this morning. While it was slower than usual we still managed 3 cats in the 2-4 lb range! Anyone else having luck up there at night? The water looked like it was up from the last time i was there. I was using cut shad all night, not one hit on liver. We probably missed 2 or 3 runs as well...slow but all in all a good night.

The bass bit however was off! We threw everything at them while waiting on cat bites...ugh!

They sure are. If you use a 2-3" sunfish as bait you can get both channels and flatties. They're my new favorite bait since they catch both species very well as of late for me.

I like to make late night runs on the weekend. I cannot this weekend, but would be down maybe next friday if you are interested.

Do you guys fish pretty far up the river from the dam or just walking distance from the dam? Went tonight and cpuldnt stay too late but was there for like 3 and a half hours. Didn't get any but felt like we missed some. I was fishing just past the docks. Any tips? Thanks guys!

go to the odnr's site and get the map for griggs....look for that channel that runs all along the river. those cats like to use that river bed as a highway
