Default Delco Park

Does anyone/has anyone fished Delco Park for catfish? If so, any tips or tricks? I am planning on going tomorrow evening and using chicken livers and bluegill.

Is there any other catfish spots near Kettering (within 20 minutes or so) that anyone knows of?

I've caught a few channel cats while fishing for carp at Delco. Most were small ones but a couple were around 5 lbs. Every time I'm there it seems there's at least one person that tells me about the "huge" catfish that have been caught there. No idea if there's any truth to it. Never know what might have been put in there.

I can walk there from my home so I've fished it a lot.... quite a few tiny cats, with the occasional mid size... same as carper, always hear about monster flatheads in the but I think its mostly bs. Last story I hear was a 75lb flattie caught on 10lb line.... doubt it but you never know.

Livers with minced garlic seem to be the best. Fish the far side near the trees. The rock wall right at that same end seems to be my best producer.....

Great carp pond though

In Kettering you can also fish the pond at Kettering Rec. and the pond at Lincon Park. I think they are all catch and release.
