LOL they dont have legs so there fore there will be no running!
But from what i understand they use rocks and rocky flats to spawn on. Or shallow water with a hard bottem. Im sure a few run(lol swim) up stream to try an do there thing but never hear of it at alum or hoover..
Ive learned alot of guys will say the saugeye are runnin or the whitebass are runnin, are actually just feeding fish guys have caught. I went to hoover once in july and the guy at the baitstore told me the whitebass were ''running'', come to find out he was just talking about very aggrestivly feeding fish.
So just be carefull when guys tell you there running, make sure you ask if there actually spawning or feeding.
Lots more guys with way more experience then me that may way in on the saugeye run at alum.
