Drawbridge boats have been having to go near W Sister to get good amounts of perch. Wind Sat is to be up to 45 knots W & WSW. That should blow a lot of the green out of there. Might even be fishable Sun.

Yes the headboats were by us NE of West sister this week. Water there has lots of algee in in but not the green carpets we have seen. But the wave forecast this weekend isn't good at all.

I was at lakeside this weekend for a family reunion. It was fun watching the huge waves crash over the pier. As far as algae, I noticed a slight bit of green in the water color, but couldn't really tell if it was algae or sediment from wave action. On the lee side of the pier, the water looked to have over a foot of visibility.

Here is a short video that I shot back in September of the algae while out perch fishing.

to clarify - I wasn't trying to deny the problem exists. I was just reporting what I saw on the weekend of 10/15.
