Default trolling motor question

Ok i bought a new minn kota powerdrive not even 6 months ago. it seems to make more noise than usual i noticed the other day that if you grab the prop you can move it in and out about a 1/4 inch maybe less well i saw one on another boat and tried to move it it has no play what ya think.

Give Ty Clarkston at boat things, a call. He lives in Westerville and is the repair/warrenty center for this area. His number is 614-895-6235. I've known him for years. Lots of guys on here have used him. He's real good and quick.

Thanks dale i looked at it today when i went out its more like 1/8 but it sounds like the whole inards are moving.
