Just bought a brand new 2010 chrysler town&country van for my wife.van has 500 miles on it and we've had it 10 days now.I noticed when i drove it yesterday on the highway it wants to pull left.tried it on other roads and same thing, pulls left immediately.should i take it back to dealer and request alignment be checked?should i have to pay for work if needed?my 08 silverado holds the road much better....any thoughts?
First I would check the air pressure in the tires. It they're okay, yes, take it back. The dealer will take care of it at no cost.
I'm assuming it's done this from day one and no one hit anything in the first 500 miles.

If I am not mistaken I believe Chrysler has a "major" recall for power steering issues.
years ago, had a small car, pulled...had an alignment done...still pulled....switched the two front tires, it pulled the other way....had the suspect tire balanced......fixed the problem.
father inlaw has a new truck....vibrates at higher speeds...dealer paid/did alignment twice, problem is still there....I'm thinking a bad tire?????
DBL J,you could have a bad caliper, bad tire(broken belt),low on air pressure, definately back to dealeer for warranty repair.
Mr Ducks
alignment does not cause a vibration 99% of time, ballance will,or bad tire, could be in drive line also?.If vibe felt in seat more than strg whl its usually in drive line.
thanks for the replys....if tire pressures are ok i'm taking her back in to check it out.as far as vans go its a great vehicle and when the wifes happy everyone is happy, so she got the van,i'll post what happens,Jeff.
