Me and good luck charm (my oldest daughter) Launched out of Vermilion and started working the west side of the sand bar around 7:30am and couldnt get it going.

Picked up and set down several times with no luck and then made the decision to run out toward the bouy. Wow alot of people must read Blue Dolphins posts because it was a flotilla out there!

Ended up running even further North about a mile west of the bouy(we could see it) and started an east troll and picked up our first eye around 10:30am and had our two tickets about 2:30. Had my first triple and a couple doubles. Only ran colorados about 1.8, 2oz 100-110, 3oz 70-75 back were the best leads by farr.

Funny thing was I didnt mark hardly anything but we kept getting hits. The trash fish were active also.

Nice job finding them. Blue dolphins post has 978 views, so you gotta figure there would be a few folks that had a good idea after reading it....lol!
