Yea just ask ohiojmj who manned the rods last week while I took my turn steering into the wind. I think he had 6 hits in 15 mins. Funny as heck watching him in that fire drill

I was off a pier in Rocky River and they were catching some. There were 3-5 footers so it wasn't ideal conditions and they weren't using an aggitator/spoon so it should be hot.

They are a complete pain in the a** if you're trying to catch walleye. They are in 65' of water suspended between 35' & 50' straight north of the Eastlake power plant. I hope you catch ALL of them. It would be much appreciated.

They are around the Rocky R. area, look for seagulls feeding and circling when the schools of bass are chasing the shiners up to the surface.
Would be nice if more people were fishing for them because they are a pain to deal with while walleye fishing as it was mentioned before me.
White bass fillets aren't the greatest but it is clean fish and makes great dog/cat food mixed with olive oil and raw oatmeal.

Walleye are great for Lake Erie and a great sport fish. Over the past 30 years I've had a few boats that we go out and drift or troll and have caught many walleye right out with the big boys. I've come back to the marina many a time and out fished the charters in quantity and size. White bass are a great fish to take your kids out and catch, especially when you don't have a boat. But I must say referring to white bass as a good dog food?....that is totally disrespectful to the people who like to catch them and have some fish fries over the summer! In my personal opinion....I would rather eat a perch, white bass, or of course a crappie before eating the walleye, big or small, they are good but the small pan fish and white bass are very tasty. Dog food, really? From a senior member you would think a comment like that could strike a nerve. I hope for your sporty walleye fishing they come to shore quick so I can get them out of your way......at least until I get my next boat together and start grabbing those big ones again.

Don't forget: many moms are feeding their kids with worst quality foods they are actually feeding their dogs or cats.
White bass is way behind however to perch and walleye in the big pond.
