Default Skeeter Specs, Still hitting

We pulled out 'ol Yeller' aka 'Leaks-alot' to see if she still floats, blow off some dust and to use up some of last years gas.
Did some drifting along the S E side, just N of the water tank. Found a 5' hump in 11'-13' water. That hump was covered with grass & FISH,,, finder was full of crappies and keeper gills. Wish we had minnows. Caught 'em all casting white gulp twister & jig.
About 15 keepers in an hour. Ran out of time.

Yep the last month and a half has been consistently producing nice slabs for me, too. Its like a 4 step system right now out there.Get to deep water, find the weeds, find a shelf or structure, find the fish. Gulp Alive minnows have been good for me along with the plain old twister tail and jighead.
