Good Morning at Acton Lake

My buddy and I hit Acton lake this morning around 530. fished till about 11:00. started off slow caught a couple on a jig and one on topwater. wind picked up and we started throwing crankbaits and ended up catching a total of about 20 bass, most were 1-2lbs. This was the biggest of the day caught around 10:00 on a Bandit crankbait. Had to leave so we could get to work but all in all it was a really productive morning.

Nice job and a nice fish! we fished last night for channels up there and did pretty well also.

Forgot to add that I caught about a 5lb channel cat on a green pumpkin jig with a paca chunk trailer. Though I had a huge bass when I first set the hook then got the tell tell sign, feeling the head shaking and not coming to the surface to jump. It was a good fight though.
