Talking Summer night Delaware crappie limit from shore

Guess the full moon really helped the bite. Fished Delaware tonight between 7:30 and 9pm. Caught 40+ crappies, about 30 keepers. Kept around 20 big ones for dinner. Largest one was a hair short of 12in. All fish caught on a white crappie magnet with 1/16oz jig, no bobber. My first summer crappie limit from shore!

Not asking for your spot, but were you north or south on hoover? I've bee blanked too many times south of the 2nd bridge this year. LOL, even my own family is not wanting to go out with me anymore.

I was at Delaware lake south. I heard that people caught a lot of crappies and white bass from Hoover south end (from shore) but most were small.

Oh, I guess you were asking TimTaylor75

That's alright I appreciate any tips you care to share. This is my first year fishing in central Ohio and its been rough. Hopefully after some time I will get them dialed in.

PPlulu - Nice catch and great report thanks - I just cleaned up my boat from sitting the last two months and ready to head back out for the crappie in the next week or two.
