Default Perch...

Where did they go? I am taking out one of my Marine friends out and I would like to catch a few. I tried to pre fish today out of Lorain.. Fished towards sheffield on 6/26 notta.. Should I go more west towards vermilion?

A Co worker of mine went out of. Vermilion and he had to move around a lot. He said he ended up in front of the Castle and it was a slow bite and ended up with 11 pounds for four guys.

If your able to go further west I did very well on the north side of Kelly's Island in 41 f o w.

4 of us caught 25 north of the breakwall sunday in 38 feet of water . very slow in vermilion

That bite has been spotty. Was good last Friday afternoon with good size and numbers but was slower Saturday morning with much smaller fish.

We also fished around Kelley's last Saturday and did well. Most that I've talked to did well around Kelley's.

headed out by St A's it was slow picking moved all over finally came in close. 17-22 ft of water and it was steady for a while 50 perch all good size a few undersized,(7" size limit on my boat) but they were gill shot so we kept them.

2 man limit 34 fow straight out of beaver this evening. mostly 8-10inch fish some throwbacks some jumbos

a little over 2 hours steady bite
