Default Cold Creek public access??

My boy spent the afternoon today in the heat fishing in the youth clinic at Cold Creek. We had a very good time. We stayed up in the area and we were thinking of trying to find a spot to fish in te morning. Of course my son would like to find some more rainbows or perhaps a steelie! Are there and public access areas for the river downstream which we may be able to tak eadvantage of? And are there catchable numbers of fish in that area if there is public access? I will check back in the morning. Hopefully someone can help us out.

not much public access except cold creek trout camp.they charge 5$/person .personally i dont think it would be worth the money right now.usually winter and early spring is when people fish there for trout.

With that creek staying a constant 48 degrees, you should be able to catch fish anytime of year. I've been told that you can park across the street from the trout camp, at margaritaville, and not have to pay the $5 to fish.
