Definitely go to the Dr. could be any of the a fore mentioned diseases, bites scrapes, infestations, or std's Looks painful and itchy!! Hope you figure it out.
Go get it checked. Looks similar to something my granddaughter had last week. The daughter is at work so i can't get the name. They said it is usually in young children but is contagious. Easily treatable and went away quick.
impetago (sp)? had it as a child along with the neighborhood kids and cousins. haven't heard of it since.
A guy at work had something similar, It was the mrsa virus. Need to go to doc and get checked out. It was a single large bump which he said the pain was almost unbearable.
His was also a hard knot type bump with a lot of puss.

it's obviously a white turtle bite, you must taste really bad or you wouldn't be alive to post.
- go to the doc, better to be safe then a zombie.

It has been a week since the original poster had put this here so I would hope that there has been some improvement although no followup has been made here. I see that he has been online and active since then so I am suspecting that he has gotten past it by now. I had mentioned that I had a similar type thing. Mine has pretty much gone away. I have 4 scabs that are healing nicely now. I believe mine was either a spider or perhaps bedbugs since we stayed in a hotel two night before they showed up.
My 14 month old son had it last week. We stopped in W. Va at a restaurant on our way to the outer banks. His Pediatrician said that SE Ohio and WV are seeing significant outbreaks of the stuff. We figured he picked it up off the high chair at Shoneys.
It didn't look like that...he had blisters all over his feet, hands, and in his mouth. He also ran a 100-102 degree fever for two days.
Sucks...
MRSA is nothing to ignore...hope ya' went to the Doc.
