I like the sit on tops better, you have more room to fish. I bought a potomac tidewater 100 at dicks last year. Perfect for anglers. Has three rode holders.

Got it for the same price as the sit in youre looking at.

I bought the field and stream eagle talon, sit on top, kayak. I picked it up for $399 at Dick's too. I haven't put it on the water yet, but it has a good hull design and it's well built. Not to mention, it's real hard to swamp a sit on top, and you can use the hull for storage.

I heard about the Tallon, but the Dick's @ fairfield commons didn't have one. I love the sit on tops, but was also wanting to use it for Duck hunting it the winter.

I put my talon on the water this morning, before I got rained out. It tracked really well and was quite stable. At first, I didn't think it was very fast. After paddling for a while though, I kinda got the hang of things and it was a lot quicker. I think I ended up paddling more than fishing, but I enjoyed it. I even caught two channel cats and a few dink bluegills.
