Default Magee East Marina bait update!!!

Bad news about the bait.......

no bait yet. I was promised shiners this morning and my supplier called and said the best he can do is 7 a.m. tomorrow. I'm not happy, my customers are not happy, but there aren't any other options at this point. I will post here the minute the truck gets here.

There is plenty of good news....

I did get some Pimples and Rapalas in. Not every color in the book but I have the basic colors and sizes. We also have skimmers, line, 5 gallon bucket liners, etc. plus beer, pop, and other goodies.

Here's the best news....good reports on fishing and ice conditions. Bear in mind there is no such thing as safe ice and we need to use caution and common sense. There are always working cracks that need to be either avoided or crossed with extreme caution and avoided altogether when conditions hide them (high winds, heavy blowing snow, etc.). BUT.....there are reports of good catches coming from 2-4 miles west of Catabwa State Park. I'm also starting to get reports of decent catches 2-4 miles off Magee Marsh Wildlife Area (AKA Crane Creek). There are 2 working cracks off Crane Creek that need to be paid attention to and pay attention to offshore winds.

I will be praying to the bait gods for prompt delivery tomorrow morning!!!

Be safe and good fishing!

Default No problem

No problem getting out. Just stay away from the Peir and the area just west of it.
If at first you don't succeed......Don't try skydiving.
I miss my ex-wife.........but my aim is improving.
