Default More Flatties Today...

Went out and caught some more Flatheads today. Weighed them this time too, so I don't say anymore false weights!

The two big ones in my hand weighed 30 pounds each. We didn't care to weigh the other ones.

Even though Uncle Johnboy only caught one of them, we had to take a picture together.

Also, a nice Bluegill my father caught. We measured it because we thought it would be bigger than it actually was.

Other fish we caught were more smaller Bluegills, a nice Largemouth, and a tiny Catfish that looked like a hybrid.

Note: The catfish were kept in a tub of water while we weighed them, then they were safely released.

You will hear from a lot of people that there isn't. Even after fishing it for years, I can still ask people if there is fish in it and they will tell me no. But there is definitely big fish in there, probably a few state records as well.

Last night a man told me that there is a 120pound Flathead in there, but I highly doubt it.

I used to hear a fish 5' long was in there. Now that was 22 years ago. Used to know someone that scubba dived it.
