Default 4:30am carp

Caught this 24" carp on a rapala i cant believe he ate it..

The largest carp I have ever caught (42 inches) hit a black and silver A.C. shiner (minnow stick bait) while I was in a canoe. Talk about getting towed around.

I've seen some 3 feet + come right up to my kayak but I haven't hooked one yet. Looking forward to my first redneck sleighride.

Same here man, I saw a big fish on the LMR busting bait on the surface and thought it was a hybrid...tossed a 4in Matzuo stick bait over and it chased it down with a huge flash of water & mud. I was excited to think it might be a personal best hybrid, but it ended up being a stinky 8 pound carp. I've got the video around here somewhere, I'll see if I can find it. She took us for a good ride around the river as well!
