If you did not see channel 8 news tonight, you missed it the waves were breaking over the walls next to the freeway and they closed the right lane down..A sight to see...Lake Erie had to have 10 to 12's or more on it....JIM....CL....

I work right near that breakwall and saw that madness first hand. Those waves were no joke. Even the marina was shaking. Hope they had their fenders on!

Here is a cool shot of the waves today my buddy sent me. Not sure what the jibberish at the end is all about but still a cool view.

Awesome pics here.

I've been down there in the winter when the waves were real high and seen erie spit up schools of shad. I wouldn't be surprised if a couple eyes were tossed up out of these babies.

The video below really showed the size of the waves. Watch the video and look at just prior to when the waves hit the wall and how much of the wall is exposed then when the waves hits the wall how much of the wave covers the wall. Just crazy.

I drove by that spot yesterday around 3:30 going east bound and the water was spraying all the way across the east bound lane. I got a free truck wash.

I asked several people to go for the night bite last night. They all turned me down. Maybe now they will stop saying I never ask.

That's pretty amazing. I think the "Fitzgerald" can handle it tho . I have two open seats, no charge for gas.

Default Eastlake Waves were Amazing

Love to sit at the wall and drift off. Yesterday you had to be careful that you didn"t make that literal.

WOW! Crazy stuff! My uncle always tells me bout being out in huge waves in a 16 ft lund with a 75 hp tiller i think.(fishhoggs boat way back) He claims 10 plus footers. Biggest ive been in is 4-5 footers with a 6&7 once in a while, in a 17 ft lowe with a 90 hp. That mid fall an the water was COLD. EEWWW i dont like that feeling. Never again.
That video is just crazy!
