today i hit the shenago wildlife area today on a good active scrape line i happened on yesterday, it was 15 yards in from an uncut cornfield and i set up downwind about 20 yards off. i used a scent drag on the way in with some tinks69 which i hung a few yards off the scrape line in an open shooting lane, i was set.lol.. ive used many different scents, but i always seem to come back to tinks, because it works (does anyone know what ever happened to old tink nathen?) i got into the stand about 645....

been a while since i blogged, ive become kinda got tired of the games thats become ogf and some of the PM's from people i thought were my friends giving me a hard time over stuff that is really none of my concern. but today is a happy day for me and ive killed a deer and 3/4 bottle of merlot. ive been out hunting hard for 14 days on and off since beginning of bow season. ive passed on fawns, buttons and doe that were in my range, but just not interesting enough to me on that day to shoot. yesterday...

been awhile since ive posted, winter just sucks. filled my deer tags while the leaves were still on the trees, freezers full of walleye, no need to ice fish, all my harnesses are tied, spoons, blades and cranks all organized. got a new bow ive been playing with to pass a little time with, but my god am i bored.guess i got the ata show tomorrow and the boat show next week.

got out last night with some good friends and hit c-town for some pig fishing we got some biggin's too. it felt really great to be back on the old thompson pulling pigs with everything thats been going on with mom, its just what i needed. now if i could catch up on my sleep id be set. thanks george your a great friend indeed and lets do it again soon!!

well mom finally getting to come home for a while to regain her strength before her big surgery to remove the tumor. shes been through hell, bleeding tumor, 4 stint procedures, bac infection, dumb ass nurses giving dextrose IV to a diebetic, trouble finding vein to draw blood EVERYfreekinTIME!! just hell these last few weeks. shes staying strong. thank god she getting out of the clinic to recover from all her getting better treatment.
