I have Been catching them in 22-30 fow 19-21 ft down. In the morning they school up and suspend over points with steep dropoffs and feed. Keep ur marker buoy close by, because you can normally catch quite a few in one little area. Most the big ones I catch are in 28-30 fow. Still they are down about 19-21 ft. I always start at 18 or 19 and go from there. Things start to slow down and they start to spread out about 9 or 10:00. I use a drop shot rig with jigs or minnows 1/2 oz sinker. After that I go for downed wood in 25-30 fow. I vertical jig for them. About noon I leave cuz of all the crazies on the jet skis and boats come out. My go to colors
