There used to be a little scour hole below the bridge there at Stubbs Mill that a friend of mine caught a three pound smallie out of and we could always count on a few good fish . Last spring early I walked under the bridge to check it out and found a huge sycamore pushed up against the bridge abutment and a crack a foot wide tore out of the stones. I went to the police station in morrow and thet called the county engineer. That day they were working on the bridge. There are quite a few things that go unnoticed except for outdoor people looking at the wildlife. no one should trash the river, eagles around or not. They give all outdoorsmen a black eye with the public. you can report things anonymously at 800-762-2437.
