I drive a Chevy Colorado and throw my canoe in the back. Some of my photos you see me in a kayak and those below to my friends. They let me use there. My buddy with the orange kayak has a rack system on top of his SUV, but I don't remember what kind it is. You could check into the Canoe/Kayak thread as there is some good advice there from various guys.

Joe B, I got your message inquiring about the musky on smallie tackle. I don't fish mono much anymore. My primary rod for smallie fishing is a 6' medium action baitcaster with 30 lb braid. The braid has the diameter of 8 lb mono which makes it ideal for bass sized baits, but it is very strong so it can handle a musky fairly well. Another advantage of braid is that it doesnt stretch which offers a better chance of gettting a solid hookset into the boney mouth of a musky. Let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you hook into one in Alum, the creek. I know there are plenty in there.

Yeah, that's Zupan. We went to the same small high school 20 yrs ago or so. We just ran into each other on these forums a couple weeks ago. I haven't had a chance to fish together yet.

Yep. I own a condo on Huber Village. My back door slides open to the pond so it is convenient. I don't catch much besides carp in the pond, but at least i can keep a line wet.

Thanks for the report. I've often wondered about it. Have you ever fished the Hoff Woods Park Pond off McKorkle behind Giant Eagle or the other fenced in pond that is farther West on County Line? I haven't myself.

Joe, I haven't. I've jogged past that pond 100 times. I don't know if there are any decent bass in there or not but I always see "meat-fishermen" there. Good luck.
