tried bowfishin for the frist time today. It was pretty neat. I saw a lot of ccarp but all my shots were misses. I figured that I was aiming to high. Well see how well i do this weekend. Carp Beware!!

I got my 14th boat motor today. it's a 1955 Evinrude bigtwin 25hp. It is good shape it has new points coils and spark plugs and just needs a pivot point pin in the lower unit and some paint then its good to go. i'll be running her behind my boat next week.

I got my first bass of the year. I got him on a rattle trap in a foot of water. He was around 2 lbs aboujt 5 minutes later I got another pig that was a solid 3 lbs missed 2 more. pretty good for only 40 minutes of fishing. I also put 235 miles on my truck on saturday.

i TRIED TO DO SOME BASS FISHING IN A CREEK BE MY HOUSE. half of the creek was iced over the other have was somewhat fishable. I was there for close to an hour than called it quite. On my way in I saw my neighbors cats, so I tied on a huge bobber and fished for them for a while. Practice my casts and retrieves.
