lets fire the blog back up..

today i hit the shenago wildlife area today on a good active scrape line i happened on yesterday, it was 15 yards in from an uncut cornfield and i set up downwind about 20 yards off. i used a scent drag on the way in with some tinks69 which i hung a few yards off the scrape line in an open shooting lane, i was set.lol.. ive used many different scents, but i always seem to come back to tinks, because it works (does anyone know what ever happened to old tink nathen?) i got into the stand about 645. about 810 a doe comes in from the cornfield and goes right into the white oaks?? i didnt think there would be any acorns, but she was eating something. i didnt shoot because the scrapes were active and i said to myself i wont shoot another doe till after 1pm. turns out that was the only deer i saw all day and i sat there from daylight until almost 5pm until some jackass went around the the edge of the cornfiled on a 4 wheeler. i cant really be pissed off (even though he ruined magic hour) because the public hunting area i was hunting boardered that cornfield, yep, it was his land i was beside. oh well, theres always next week
