Took a tour of Erie this weekend and really layed into the fish. We hit the detroit river Fri night and got a bunch of big common carp with most weighing in the upper teens to mid 20's. Also got some goldfish, a couple dogfish, and a gar. Sat we hit Sandusky bay for some day shooting. The water was muddy but the fish were in spots so thick you could literally shoot randomly into the water and pul up a common carp at least 50% of the time. These fish ran kinda small though being 5-10#. We shot there till close to dark then got a bite to eat and heading out to the islands...The fish didn't dissappoint there and we got alot of 20+ # fish. To finish the nigh we ran into East Harbor and shot a whole bunch of fish there....Saw some really nice pike in there also...It was a fun...and cold weekend on the water.
