What a great idea. Goes hand in hand is right. I manage to be very comfortable in my van. I have a large, thick foam mat and a double wide sleeping bag. I slept in it all of Oct. three years ago before my buddy and I bought a hunting camper for the lease. I was warm and dry last year up at the Maumee in the snow. Nutting like a warm dry place to sleep!
I had to laugh at the guys who pitched a tent and had to brush 4" of snow off of it so it wouldn't colapse.
I brought the family up on primitive camping at our family's property near Cooks Forest, PA. What awesome family chats you have around the campfire.

nice addition to the board! I just got a new tent back in Feb. at Dicks...can't wait to try it out. We average a new tent every two years - spent a little more $$$ on this one so I hope to get 3 out of it!
I have learned plenty of tricks for tent camping just walking around campgrounds and seeing how some other people do things - can't wait to hear some of your tricks and maybe some pictures.

FSHNERIE, I feel ya'!! Mine wouldn't sleep in a tent anymore, so I had to buy a trailer... Now I won't be able to get a bigger boat 'til next year!!
