Pleasant hill lake is still closed

Guys and Gals just so you know i called Pleasant hill today to check on a cpl things and the lake is still closed. They said you can see the parking lot but its a mess and the ramp is still under water. Just incase anyone was planning on fishing there.

Has anyone who lives close to the lake taken any pictures? If so can you post them on line?

I can't believe that the lake is still up that high. I saw some pictures of the Mohican River just last night and it did not look too bad. At the rate that it dropped the last few days it will be next week sometime before it hits normal summer pool. Here is a link to the lake data (http://www.lrh-wc.usace.army.mil/wc/phcns.htm).

My buddy has a cabin up at pleasant hill, we were supposed to go have a big get together last weekend. From what he heard, they are not going to let the lake down very fast. I have no idea how fast they are planning on drawing it down but i guess it is supposed to take a couple weeks maybe.

Based on the chart data it has been coming down at least 1.5 feet per day and is only 3 feet high right now. I would think it should be at normal pool this weekend. I don't know what if any damage will be left behind to clean up that may keep them from opening everything up. I would think they would be anxious to get back to normal this weekend.

I heard rumor that they are going to open the lake up tomorrow.

The Clear Fork is CLOSED, the sign at the State Park confirms it. The Black Fork looked to be open, there was Kayaks from a livery on there this afternoon. The Clear looks to be about 3-4' high to me, I drive over it 6-10 times per week. Pine run was the biggest disaster, I have pics and can e-mail them to anybody, they were taken this afternoon.

Route 3 opened yesterday from the Knox County line into Loudonville, Loudonville is pretty much closed down, it is sad to see it so dead this time of year.

As far as Pleasant Hill go's, I was told it is still 2-4' high, the marina took all the boats to the middle of the lake and anchored them, one of my customers has 2 there and they are unreachable to him until the lake opens.
