Smallie report

It hasn't been a good weekend for numbers of fish, but we definitely had some quality fish. We hit a local flow and only caught 5 smallies between us. We each got a 17 incher, and each lost another nice one. They were hitting Case SSM's and Flukes. Couple were caught on tubes. Water starting to look good, hopefully that will last for next weekend.

My wife and I, ( She loves to fish!) accepted an invitation to spend the weekend at a friends lake house in Conneaut.Nice change. I had to climb down the bent stairs to fish in the lake,and was rewarded with a nice smallmouth. I was tinkering around with spinnerbait while perch fishing.I caught four smallmouth's at a about 6 feet of water off a rock wall. No perch!
This one was about 19" and heavy.
