Dick's (Montrose/W. Akron) 30% off St. Croix pole

I just bought a 6'6" MH St. Croix musky rod for $66 plus tax at Dick's in Montrose. It was one their clearance items with price ending with .97 that is reduced 30%. Had a couple left on 4/4.

I saw those. I was going to buy one. I found a nice spinning rod (not that I need another pole), which they only had one left. I was about to walk up front with it, but then I noticed that the top eyelet was glued on at a 90 degree angle from all the other eyelets. I had a good laugh, set it down, and went home.

Yea that would would have played wonders on your cast lol.

You should have talke to the manager. You may have been able to get more off on it due to the defect. All it takes is a little heat from a cigarette lighter to melt the adhesive and it would turn right into place. Dont forget to use a glove or a rag. They are hot.
